I dunno if anyone is experiencing the same thing at university. It seems I'm wasting a lot of money to have about four, maybe five hours of education a week in which my lecturers tell me my drawing is not good enough because I focus on making things too realistic....er, I thought that was the point of learning to draw. Instead we are being encourage to make drawings that look like infant school children have made them, and those of us that like dramatic photoshop artwork are being told our work is no good and 'needs improving'. It makes me depressed and disappointed that we are not being encouraged.
Sorry for any typos in this...I can no longer spell because of uni...hehehe
